San Jacinto Peak, the long way
July 16, 2006
San Jacinto State Park / San Bernadino National Forest
16 miles
4500 feet elevation gain

Hiked to San Jacinto Peak, the long way, from Humber Park in Idyllwild. It was my first hike of the year, and probably a little too much, but good nonetheless. We walked the Devil's Slide Trail to Saddle Junction, then to Wellmans Divide, and then up to the peak It was 16 miles round trip.
