The Americas cover a vast area, including North, South, and Central America. To the east is the Atlantic Ocean, and to the west is the Pacific Ocean. Starting in the north around the Arctic Circle, is North America, including Canada, The United States, and Mexico. Working down towards Central America there are the Carribbean Islands on the east, then the Central American countries of Belize, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica and Panama. Central America, sometimes called Meso America, connects North America at Mexico to South America at the tip of Colombia. South America includes many countries, and stretches thousands of miles south to its' southernmost city, Ushuaia, capital of Tierra del Fuego.
