Las Vegas is located in Clark County in southwestern Nevada. Also known as "Sin City", it is most well known for it's gambling and casino resorts. On Las Vegas Boulevard, also known as "The Strip", there are incredible themed hotels, replicating some of the most well known places in the world. From New York to Paris to the Venetian, you can find quite a variety of activities. There are plenty of adult things to do, shows, gambling, etc, but there are also plenty of things for younger people as well. Just walking around outside can be entertaining, as long as it's not too hot.
Aside from the gambling, when most people think of Las Vegas, they think of the desert and HEAT! Some days it can get to nearly 120 degrees, but keep in mind that during the winter, once in a while it gets cold enough to get a little bit of snow, and the wind blows enough to make it feel quite a bit colder.
