Borneo is the third largest island in the world, and is located in Southeast Asia, in the South China Sea. It is divided between the countries of Indonesia, Malaysia and Brunei. On the island are the Indonesian provinces of East, South, West and Central Kalimantan, the two Malaysian states Sabah and Sarawak, and the independent sultanate of Brunei.
