Belarus is a real heart of Europe. There are a lot of castles - the most famous Mir castle, also there are many rivers and lakes. If somebody wants to know more about my country or even visit it write me back to my e-mail box mir8_2@hotmail.com or smols8@mail.ru.

The country of Belarus is located in Eastern Europe, bordered by Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Russia, and Ukraine. In 1991, it attained its independence after seven decades as a republic of the Soviet Union. Although an independent country, it has kept closer ties to Russia than any of the other former Soviet republics.
