Rome (Roma) is the capital of Italy, as well as of Lazio, and is the country's largest city. It is an amazing city located in the center of Italy, closer to the west coast, on the Tiber river.

If you're looking for a fun city with a lot of history, Rome is it. In and around Rome are many wonderful sights, including the Vatican and Vatican City, the Trevi Fountain, the Roman Forum, the Colosseum, the Panteon, and St. Peter's Basilica.

It is a city not to be missed. If you are worried about pickpockets, just remember to be careful in crowded areas and you won't have a problem.
