Krakow (also known as Cracow) is a lovely city in the south east region called Malopolska (lesser Poland). Virtually untouched by the Germans during the occupation and not damaged greatly by the Communists it is probably one of the most beautiful cities in Europe. It boasts a superb variety of cultural and social experiences. Of course there is the expected superb collection of churches especially the Cathedral of Saints Stanislaw. Making friends with the locals is fairly easy and useful if you want to see the real Kracow.
The bars are superb fun and the drinks (excluding the wine) are very good value. There is alot to see both at night and in the day. The food is fun a good mixture of vegetables and meats, no need to be shy its all good.
