Spain is located on the Iberian Peninsula, in Southwest Europe. It borders the countries of Portugal, Andorra, and France, as well as the Bay of Biscay, the North Atlantic Ocean, and the Mediterranean Sea. The population of Spain is app. 40,280,780 individuals, who live in very distinct and diverse regions. Spain, or the Kingdom of Spain, holds Castilian as it’s national language, while a variety of others are spoken regionally.
